JUSTIN BIEBER bought a home with a night club house and cinema

On an appearance on Jay Leno many months back, Miley Cyrus advised Justin Bieber, who seemed to run into trouble every time he leaves his house, to a buy a house with a night club. “you have a lot of money…buy a house with a night club.” Miley said. Well, Justin has taken that advice. He’s left his rented Beverly Hills condo and moved into a sprawling Hollywood hills mansion with its own night club…and now he can party his heart out with his friends without getting into trouble.

The 16,000 square foot all-glass contemporary home has an 80-foot long disco with three bars, lights and sound system. It also has a fully-equipped gym, pool table, ping pong enclave, 10 bedrooms, including two master suites with huge closets, a floating glass staircase, 80-foot-long pool and an in-home movie theater with a 160-inch screen.

How To Manage Ebola At Home Before Ambulance Comes

It is usually recommended that all Ebola-infected persons should be admitted to an isolation unit in a health care facility.

However, in some cases where medical help cannot reach the infected person fast, experts say that where the right precautions are taken, Ebola can be managed at home.

According to the experts, it is very important to to maximize the chances of the person’s survival, protect family members and break the transmission of the virus to others.

While waiting for an ambulance from the isolation centre to arrive, and thereby reduce infection of other family members, do the next (information gleaned from a document provided by the Ebola Emergency Operations Centre (EEOC) in Lagos):

The patient should be restricted to one room or area of the household and if possible the area should be roped off.

The patient should be restricted to one toilet and bath. Other family members should not use it.

If care must be given to the patient, one family member should be designated to provide the care while avoiding direct contact with the infected person.

Waterproof gloves without holes, such as household heavy-duty rubber gloves, should be worn before entering the room and before touching any surfaces or the patient. Hands must be washed very well before and after entering the patient’s room.

Avoid stepping on any fluids (such as vomit, urine, blood or diarrhea) of the patient.

When giving care, it is advised that the caregiver must always stay behind the patient and avoid any direct contact with the patient’s clothes, beddings and other household items that the patient may have touched such as bowls, cups and plates.

A mask or dry towel should be wrapped around the face to protect the mouth and nose when entering the patient’s room.

If any cleaning must be done, caregivers must use diluted bleach solution, which must be made afresh every 24 hours as the solution loses its effectiveness within that time frame.

Soiled towels and gloves must be soaked in a bucket filled with bleach solution for at least one hour before washing.

After an hour, the towels can be washed with soap and re-used once they are dry.

Never put bleach or its solution into the patient’s mouth or eyes. Use bleach-soaked towels for carrying or moving the patient.

In the event of the patient’s death, it is highly recommended that the body should not be touched at all as it is highly infectious.

The caregiver should notify health authorities to retrieve it.

G-WATCH: The latest smartwatch

Google is great at answering common questions — who was the 23d president? What is the capital of South Dakota? Stuff like that. But Google still has trouble answering this one: Why exactly does anyone need a smartwatch?

You know those digital gadgets for your wrist that connect to a smartphone and display the time, weather, and latest incoming e-mails and texts? Smartwatches are supposed to be the next big thing, and in a way they are — big, that is.
The one I am testing, the $236 G Watch by South Korea’s LG Electronics, is a plastic half-cube that juts from my wrist like a remote control for the Death Star. But as the market for smartphones nears saturation, LG, Sony, Samsung, and other electronics companies are counting on smartwatches for a fresh surge of revenue.
Until now, smartwatch makers have each created their own operating software that is often incompatible with many phones. For instance, first-generation Samsung watches work only with Samsung’s own smartphones, and not all of those.

But Google Inc. sensibly figures that a standardized software platform will boost demand for the watches and slash their cost. It worked brilliantly for its smartphone operating system, Android. Now comes Android Wear, a version built to run on watches and other wearable devices, and compatible with virtually all late-model Android phones. The LG G Watch is one of the first Android Wear devices to hit retail stores, and Google’s betting its new software will give millions of us a good reason to strap

The G Watch confuses right out of the box. Where is the “on” button? There isn’t one. The watch switches on when you snap it into its battery charging cradle. There is a touchscreen command for turning it off, but without the charger, you cannot switch it back on. This would not be so bad if the battery could last through a day. But on a recent busy day, with lots of incoming e-mails to check, my G Watch died at 3 p.m. Even on slow days, the battery just ba

US doctor with Ebola in Atlanta for treatment

ATLANTA (AP) — The first Ebola victim to be brought to the United States from Africa was safely escorted into a specialized isolation unit Saturday at one of the nation's best hospitals, where doctors said they are confident the deadly virus won't escape.

Fear that the outbreak killing more than 700 people in Africa could spread in the U.S. has generated considerable anxiety among some Americans. But infectious disease experts said the public faces zero risk as Emory University Hospital treats a critically ill missionary doctor and a charity worker who were infected in Liberia.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has received "nasty emails" and at least 100 calls from people saying "How dare you bring Ebola into the country!?" CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden told The Associated Press Saturday.

"I hope that our understandable fear of the unfamiliar does not trump our compassion when ill Americans return to the U.S. for care," Frieden said.

Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol, who will arrive in several days, will be treated in Emory's isolation unit for infectious diseases, created 12 years ago to handle doctors who get sick at the CDC, just up the hill. It is one of about four in the country, equipped with everything necessary to test and treat people exposed to very dangerous viruses.

In 2005, it handled patients with SARS, which unlike Ebola can spread when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

In fact, the nature of Ebola — which is spread by close contact with bodily fluids and blood — means that any modern hospital using standard, rigorous, infection-control measures should be able to handle it.

Still, Emory won't be taking any chances.

"Nothing comes out of this unit until it is non-infectious," said Dr. Bruce Ribner, who will be treating the patients. "The bottom line is: We have an inordinate amount of safety associated with the care of this patient. And we do not believe that any health care worker, any other patient or any visitor to our facility is in any way at risk of acquiring this infection."

Brantly was flown from Africa to Dobbins Air Reserve base outside Atlanta in a small plane equipped to contain infectious diseases, and a small police escort followed his ambulance to the hospital. He climbed out dressed head to toe in white protective clothing, and another person in an identical hazardous materials suit held both of his gloved hands as they walked gingerly inside.

"It was a relief to welcome Kent home today. I spoke with him, and he is glad to be back in the U.S.," said his wife, Amber Brantly, who left Africa with their two young children for a wedding in the U.S. days before the doctor fell ill.

"I am thankful to God for his safe transport and for giving him the strength to walk into the hospital," her statement said.

Inside the unit, patients are sealed off from anyone who doesn't wear protective gear.

"Negative air pressure" means air flows in, but can't escape until filters scrub any germs from patients. All laboratory testing is conducted within the unit, and workers are highly trained in infection control. Glass walls enable staff outside to safely observe patients, and there's a vestibule where workers suit up before entering. Any gear is safely disposed of or decontaminated.

Family members will be kept outside for now.

The unit "has a plate glass window and communication system, so they'll be as close as 1-2 inches from each other," Ribner said.

Dr. Jay Varkey, an infectious disease specialist who will be treating Brantly and Writebol, gave no word Saturday about their condition. Both were described as critically ill after treating Ebola patients at a missionary hospital in Liberia, one of four West African countries hit by the largest outbreak of the virus in history.

There is no proven cure for the virus. It kills an estimated 60 percent to 80 percent of the people it infects, but American doctors in Africa say the mortality rate would
