President Muhammadu Buhari and the leader of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, on Thursday expressed delight over the release of 21 Chibok schoolgirls by the Boko Haram sect.
Malam Garba Shehu, the president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, said this in his twitter handle.
He stated that the president, however, cautioned “Nigerians to be mindful of the fact that more than 30,000 fellow citizens were killed via terrorism.’’

While expressing her happiness, Ezekwesili, who is currently in California, tweeted “I can only weep, right now. You know that kind of cry that is a mix of multiple emotions.
Lord. Some of OUR Girls ARE BACK!!! B. A. C. K.!!”
