Bosnia win ensures Nigeria progress
Argentina 3, Nigeria 2
The Argentina star scored twice, including with a stunning free-kick, to lead his side to a 3-2 victory over Nigeria as both sides reached the last 16
Thank God for our boys and a kudos to them. We are progressing and we expect more from them.
'iPhone 6 production starting next month'
Apple's new larger-screened iPhone 6 is rumoured to be heading into production as early as next month
Apple's next iPhone, which is said to feature a larger screen than previous incarnations, is reported to be heading into production next month.
The next model, dubbed the iPhone 6, will come in two sizes - a 4.7-inch display version (compared to the 4-inch screen of the current iPhone 5s), and a 5.5-inch model, unidentified sources told Bloomberg.
Alleged difficulties in the production of the larger-screened model mean the 4.7-inch version is likely to be released first, expected to be around the early autumn.
Both iPhone 6 screens are expected to use in-cell touch panel technology - built into the screen and allowing for thinner construction than with standard touch panel films - that was introduced with the iPhone 5.
The news comes as Apple's much-rumoured iWatch is also said to be starting mass production in July, ahead of an October commercial launch.
The Californian company's first smartwatch will sport a 2.5-inch arched rectangular display supplied by LG, sources allege.
The screen will contain a sensor that monitors the user's pulse, and the device will need to be paired with an iPhone in order to send messages and voice chat with others, they added.
The next generation iPhone is also expected to be thinner and feature more curved edges than in the past, people close to the matter said.
Birthday Boy Messi Shouldn't Expect Any Gifts From Nigeria
Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi wished birthday boy Lionel
Messi all the best on Tuesday but warned the Argentine to
expect no gifts from Nigeria team who will be fighting for their
World Cup lives when the two sides meet in a Group F clash.
While Argentina have already clinched their place in the last 16,
the Nigerians enter Wednesday's match at Beira Rio stadium
with their fate in their own hands, a draw enough to guarantee
they will make the knockout phase.
Anything less and the African champions could find themselves
headed home and Iran, who play Bosnia, progressing in their
place.
One of world soccer's marquee names and most feared strikers,
Messi turned 27 on Tuesday. He will get the chance to celebrate
belatedly in Porto Alegre along with 80,000 of his Argentine
compatriots who are expected to flood into this gritty port city
for the match.
But the Super Eagles hope there will be no other reason for an
Argentine party.
"Oh, it is his birthday, happy birthday. That's a great day,"
laughed Keshi. "My team and I want to wish him a very happy
birthday, we wish him a healthy long life and we will see him at
the game tomorrow. That's it."
Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama who also congratulated
Messy with 27th birthday said: "Messi is one of the best players
in the world and everybody knows it. But it is not a game
between me and him.
"It is going to game between Nigeria and Argentina. Everybody
is talking about Messi but there is (Gonzalo) Higuain (Angel) Di
Maria there is a whole lot of players.
"Messi is a genius, Messi is probably one of the greatest players
football has every produced but you cannot rule out other
players," the goalkeeper added.
Enyeama knows better than most the challenge that awaits on
Wednesday but will not be afraid of another showdown with
Messi.
At the 2010 World Cup, Enyeama stood tall against Messi and
the vaunted Argentine attack before falling 1-0 to the South
Americans through a goal from defender Gabriel Heinze.
Over the four years Enyeama said he has studied tapes of Messi
and is well prepared to face him again.
"I have watched tape of my opponents. We have done that has a
team," said Enyeama. "We have studied what their strengths
are, what their weaknesses are so it is not for me to stand here
and tell you what I see in these tapes.
The Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi urges his players to focus on team success first and not only on personal achievements.
The Big Boss made a remark ahead of the final group game to
be played today against Argentina in Porto Alegro, Vanguard
reports.
After the victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina Nigeria's chances to
qualify substantially increased, unless Keshi's men lose and Iran
beats Bosnia-Herzegovina with a wide margin.
As the coach, who led the country team to the win at 2013
AFCON, does not want it to happen, he instructed the
footballers to play one for another.
In the previous match before Emmanuel Emenike's pass, that
resulted in a brilliant goal by Osaze Odemwingie, Emenike had
done everything to score, even when another player was better
placed than him. The same was with Ogenyi Onaze a couple of
times.
Commenting on the tactics for the today's game, Keshi insisted:
"We have worked on that and I have told them not to be selfish.
Sometimes players show excessive hunger in the field. It is good
but team victory is absolutely important."
He had already mentioned it in a previous briefing in Brazil
laying an emphasis on the team work and team tactics in the
match against world class Argentina, and Barcelona FC star
Lionel Messi in particular.

Super Eagles' Victory Is For Africa – Stephen Keshi
Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has praised the team for
their 1-0 win over Bosnia on Saturday night and dedicated the
result to all of Africa.
The Super Eagles are now favourites to reach the last 16
alongside Argentina, who they face in their final Group F
fixture, following their narrow success in Cuiaba.
Stoke striker Osaze Odemwingie scored the only goal of the
game when he converted from close range after Emmanuel
Emenike out-muscled Emir Spahic on the right flank.
Bosnia had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside in the first
half and then saw Edin Dzeko hit the post in added time to
crash out of the tournament. According to Bosnia coach, their
team were robbed of a goal.
And with West African neighbours Ivory Coast and Ghana also
making a big impression in Brazil, Nigeria boss Keshi is
determined to make sure his team are among the continent's
representatives in the last 16.
According to him, everybody is happy in West Africa as Ghana
got their result (2-2 draw with Germany) and Super Eagles won.
Stephen Keshi said: "It's good for the continent. The fighting
spirit we showed was good. I never thought that we wouldn't
make the round of 16. I have the players.
"But look at Iran today, if it was not for Lionel Messi. We need
to work hard for the game against Argentina," he added.

NIGERIA DEFEATS BOSNIA
A priceless first-half goal proved decisive as the Africans defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0 to send Edin Dzeko & Co. out of the tournament. We hope Nigeria is going to do better against Argentina
Nigeria 1, Bosnia 0

NIGERIA vs BOSNIA
After a goalless draw against Iran in their opening match,
the Super Eagles will be eying the victory in today’s Group
F match against Bosnia who lost their opening match to
Argentina .
Nigeria’s coach Stephen Keshi will be missing some key
players ahead of this game such as Godfrey Oboabona Who
picked up an ankle injury. Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed
Musa could also be absent due to injury.
However, Super Eagles fans will be hoping for players such
as Obi Mikel , Moses and Emineke to step up to the occasion
and deliver their best performance in a must win match
for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champions.
Bosnia, on the other hand, impressed against Argentina on
their World Cup debut at the Maracana on Sunday night
before eventually falling to defeat after an own goal. They
have plenty of attacking threats to disrupt Nigeria,
especially Edin Dzeko and Miralem Pjanic who together can
be nightmares to Nigeria’s defense.
APPLE AND GOOGLE END SMARTPHONE LITIGATION
Technology giants settle string of lawsuits over phone operating systems
Apple and Google have agreed to end all outstanding litigation between them relating to smartphones in what is a major breakthrough for the two technology giants.
The pair had filed dozens of lawsuits against each other, each alleging the other had infringed patents in relation to smartphone concept and production.
The lawsuits related to questions over similarities in part between the operating system which powers Apple's iPhone range and Google's Android operating system.
Steve Jobs, Apple's late co-founder, even went so far at one stage as to refer to Android as a "stolen product."
The two companies informed a US federal appeals court late on Friday that their cases against each other should be dismissed.
However, in a joint statement, the duo said that the settlement does not include cross licenses on their respective patents. Nor does it end Apple's existing litigaiton against Samsung Electronics.
"Apple and Google have also agreed to work together in some areas of patent reform," the pair said.
Apple has battled its tech rival and the companies which have been the main adopters of its Android mobile software in order to attempt to slow the expansion of the rival operating system.
However its attempts to do so have largely failed, with Android now installed on an estimated 80pc of new smart phones.

How to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 smt210 7.0' wifi
Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 series 7in tablet runs Android
4.1.2 out of box. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 users can now root
their tablets running on official Jelly Bean firmware.
Recognised XDA developer, Jamison904 has released a
pre-rooted firmware, which is an Odin flashable file, for
the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The pre-rooted file allows users to
root their Galaxy tablets. The root file has been reported
to be working fine. Besides, the developer has shared an
easy root guide.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 users who wish to root their tablets, may
follow our step-by-step guide. IBTimes UK reminds its
readers that it will not be held liable for any damage to
the device. Users are advised to verify that their devices
meet following requirements.
PREREQUISITES:
1) Install USB Driver for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 to
transfer files between the Android device and computer.
2) Enable USB Debugging Mode on tablet to connect the
Android device with the computer and use the Android
SDK with it. [Press Menu>> Settings>> Applications .
From there navigate and click on Development option
then check USB Debugging Mode .]
3) As the tutorial might wipe out all data of the Galaxy
tablet, create a backup. If the device is having any custom
recoveries such as CWM/TWRP already installed then
backup the data using the recovery.
4) The Galaxy Tab should have above 80% battery charge.
5) The device should be factory unlocked and not locked
to a particular carrier.
6) The tablet will lose its manufacturer's warranty once it
is rooted. However, users can reclaim the warranty back
by unrooting the device later.
7) The CF-Auto-Root file works only on the Samsung
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T210 and SM-T210R. As applying this
to any incorrect variant might brick the device, verify the
model number of the Galaxy device by selecting
Settings>> System >> About device>> Model number .
Steps to root Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T210/T210R) on
Android 4.1.2
Step-1: Download root package for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 to the
computer
File name: prerooted.tar.md5
Step-2: Download Odin v3.07 . Extract the Odin zip to get
Odin3 v3.07.exe
Step-3: Turn off the tablet and wait for about five to six
seconds for vibration to confirm complete power off
Step-4: Place the tablet into Download Mode by pressing
and holding Volume Down, Home and Power buttons
together. A warning screen will appear, now press the
Volume up button to continue to enter into Download
Mode
Step-5: Run Odin3 v3.07.exe as Administrator
Step-6: Connect the tablet to the computer using USB
cable while it is in the Download Mode. Wait for some
time until Odin detects the device. When the tablet is
connected to the computer successfully, an Added
message will appear under Odin message box. Also, the
ID:COM box in Odin will turn blue with the COM port
number indicating successful connection
Note: If the Added message does not come then try
another USB port, try the one located at the back side of
the computer. In case Odin still fails to recognise the
device then re-install USB driver.
Step-7: In Odin, click the PDA button and select
the .tar.md5 root file
Step-8: Ensure in Odin Auto Reboot and F.Reset
Time check boxes are selected. But uncheck the Re-
Partition option
Step-9: Double check everything and click the
Start button in Odin. The installation process should
begin now and would take a few minutes to complete
Step-10: When the installation process is completed, the
tablet will reboot automatically and soon a PASS message
with green background will appear in the extreme left
box at the top of Odin indicating successful installation.
Unplug the USB cable from the tablet to disconnect it
from the computer
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 running on official Android
4.1.2 should be now rooted successfully. As the tablet
boots up, open the SuperSU and update the binary.
